The community center is located at the intersection of Highway 18 and NC Highway 88 at an elevation of approximately 3200 feet. Laurel Springs is a short 15 minute drive to West Jefferson and a 35 minute drive down Highway 18 to Wilkesboro. The closest large city to Laurel Springs is Hickory at a 1.5 hour drive.
