Anita Chamberlain
As a lifelong resident of Ashe County, with family ties to the region extending to the mid-1700s, I have a deep connection to the High Country. This longstanding connection fosters a genuine understanding and appreciation for the region and its residents. My professional journey began in Ashe County Schools, where I dedicated 26 years to the education of local students. Starting as a teaching assistant, I discovered a passion for teaching, leading me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Special Education from East Carolina University. During my tenure, I served students at Ashe County High School, Ashe County Middle School, and Blue Ridge Elementary School.
My interest in real estate has been a long-held aspiration. Following my retirement from education, I joined my husband, Joe Chamberlain, at Mountainscape Realty, which he founded in 2005. I am now fully committed to providing dedicated and professional service to my real estate clients. My experience in education has honed my communication skills and fostered extensive community relationships, both of which are invaluable assets in meeting my clients' needs. I look forward to assisting buyers and sellers with their real estate endeavors, and I would be delighted to reconnect with former students as they navigate the real estate market.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, and kayaking the New River with my husband, Joe. Together, we have four adult children and two grandchildren.
